I felt like I needed an excuse to watch movies.

I tend to feel that way for a lot of things, though. I’m a film student (God love me) who tends to make excuses for not watching certain things, or who tends to just wile away the hours browsing the Internet instead of widening my horizons or whatever. That’s a phrase, right? I’m my own editor, so it is now.

I’m going to try and watch every movie ever made, I’m going to try and catalog them, to celebrate them, to the best of my ability. I’m going to persevere, through thick and thin, because imagine how cool it’d be if it took off and I got to like, be on a podcast one day. Imagine, I could be the subject of complaints, I could be that guy.

So yeah, a few ground-rules.

• I’m editing this shit, by which I mean I’m going to give things a quick once-over once they’ve been written up. The tone’s gonna be more conversational, more like a train-of-thought than a serious essay.
• I’m gonna be leaving all the P R O B L E M A T I C movies to the end of the experiment, mostly because I know I won’t reach them.
• I’ll probably do short films and TV movies one day, but for now, we’re focused on features and direct-to-DVD/Streaming movies.

So yeah, let’s get going.
